The other day was my mom's birthday. She is in the hospital with my dad so we celebrated her birthday there. We took her a cake, balloons, flowers and gifts. But we couldn't have done it without my awesome friend Kanoe.
I am in Utah and staying at my sister's house. While she and my other sister are at work, I am home with five babies in diapers and two grade-schoolers. It is crazy, hectic, busy and overwhelming!
My brothers-in-law usually watch the kids in the evening so my sisters and I can go visit Dad at the hospital; but on Mom's birthday, they had to work late.
That day my friend Kanoe sent me a text and asked me if she could come over and watch all the kids so we could go to the hospital. What a rock star! Her timing was perfect and an answer to prayers.
She came over with her four kids and three pizzas. She told us to take our time and stayed behind with ELEVEN kids! We were able to have a great evening with my mom and dad in the hospital and we are all SO grateful to Kanoe and her husband Parker.
Thank you so much Kanoe! I love you!!!
